Nike Air Max Court Ballistics 2.3 offering the same durability, support and cushioning as the Air Max Courtballistec 1.3, the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 Mens Tennis Shoe delivers enhanced performance features to help you stay more comfortable during extra-long matches.
The Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 has more breathability than the original shoe and weighs in an ounce lighter. It hasnt sacrificed any of the cushioning support, however. Max Air returns to give you maximum impact protection in the heel, while LunarLite cushioning provides the springy bounce of the original shoe. The shoe also features a durable toe tip and extra-durable rubber on the outsole.
Because side-to-side movement and quick sprints are central to the sport, youll find the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 is designed with an outrigger on the lateral side of the outsole for lateral support and stability. Flex grooves in the sole allow your foot to move in a more natural motion that boosts flexibility.
Synthetic-leather and mesh upper for breathable and supportive fit DragOn X at toe tip for durability Ultra-lightweight, springy LunarLite cushioning for soft yet responsive shock absorption Molded OrthoLite sockliner for cushioning and a natural fit under your foot Max Air unit at heel for maximum cushioning Extra-durable rubber outsole in a herringbone pattern for durability and all-surface traction
Nike Flywire ShoeTechnology
Flywire helps provide ultra-lightweight support and comfort for your foot. It gets its strength from thin Nylon fibers strategically placed on the upper of the shoe to hold the foot in place, helping to reduce slippage during activity. This allows for a massive reduction in weight because material is used only where it’s needed for structure.
Nike Lunarlite ShoeTechnology
LunarLite foam is 30 percent lighter than standard Phylon and provides ultra-lightweight and springy cushioning for your foot. Encased in a Phylon or Phylite midsole, this new foam compound, invented at Nike, delivers cushioning that’s soft and not too mushy. It allows impact force to be more evenly distributed and helps reduce painful pressure points on your foot.
