K-Swiss began making tennis shoes in 1966. It debuted the first leather tennis shoe, the K-Swiss Classic, at Wimbledon that same year. Since then the company has expanded to make footware for training, running, nautical and lifestyle. K-Swiss is still represent on the tennis court by some of the top touring professionals.
